Course Description

As sea levels rise and other changing climatological patterns display an increasing ability to devastate urban populations, hazard mitigation has become a hot topic globally. Emergency management planners could reduce losses and strengthen community resilience by mapping socially vulnerable areas and focusing hazard mitigation efforts where they are most needed.
