Course Description
This course reviews the relationship among immigration, space, and planning, providing an overview of key figures, dates, and events related to immigration policies and practices in the United States. The time frame starts with 1790 and continues to the present. The overview includes key figures, such as Jacob Riis, Jane Adams, and Dr. Michael Dear, and focuses on selected dates and events, such as the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882.
