Course Description
The prior courses in this series explained concepts of the city as a home from our earliest examples, and saw how women emphasize things like care in urban planning and design in recent history.
It is much more difficult to see the life and labor of a woman in a private space than in public. Exploring interiors as they relate to gender equity, using several case studies as examples, this course explains why it's important to consider private spaces as a key component of living in an urban environment and what can be done through a gender-equity sense to make private spaces more pleasurable for women.
