Course Description
This course is the first in the Geographic Information Systems Fundamentals series. The first course is designed for beginners interested in learning more about GIS and Esri's ArcGIS software. The course will introduce core concepts of ArcMap and GIS, such as geo-modeling and representation, and give a basic overview of Esri’s ArcGIS software. You’ll learn how to make a basic map of the five boroughs of New York City including labels, a scale bar, and a north arrow.
