Course Description
In this course we will introduce the essential elements of a neighborhood – physical and functional – that enable it to provide an excellent and holistic quality of life. By the end of this course, you will have the skills to distinguish between real "neighborhoods" vs. "subdivisions and apartment complexes." We'll discuss form and design characteristics of neighborhoods and examine the elements of blocks.
