Carol Barrett focuses on how we as planners interact and work with each other in a planning office when moral issues arise with a realistic understanding of the potential range of ethical judgements. She leads us through a frank discussion with Q&A options intended for discussing various pathways of thought and understanding unclear situations. She makes us think and rethink and think again, which is so constructive. Breaking it down to moral awareness, judgement and action allows us to analyze many scenarios, including the influences of time, biases and authority on our ultimate decisions. Ms. Barrett encouraged discussion and elicited insights from participants.
