Course Description
Local governments are leveraging the LEED for Neighborhood Development (LEED-ND) system to accomplish community goals beyond individual project certification. This course reviews options and resources for local governments to leverage LEED-ND by examining case studies of local experiences and results. Subjects covered include audit and building checklists, smart location prerequisite lists, floating and overlay zoning, green tape, and other assistance for projects pursuing sustainable development.
