Course Description

This course demonstrates how planners use SketchUp to illustrate requirements in zoning codes, design guidelines and form based codes. Instructor Jaymes Dunsmore is a planner and urban designer who has worked on large-scale transportation, master planning and real-estate development projects for public and private clients in the United States and China.

Jaymes Dunsmore

Jaymes is a planner and urban designer who recently completed a Master in City Planning and Certificate in Urban Design at MIT’s Department Studies and Planning (DUSP). Prior to coming to MIT, Jaymes worked for the City of San Leandro Community Development Department, where he helped to draft the city’s first climate action plan, and for the East Bay Regional Park District.
