Course Description
This course introduces planners to basic concepts of real estate debt. We will discuss the metrics used in obtaining a mortgage and other concepts like borrowing capacity, and amortization analysis. Connecting the course topic to the practice of planning, we will also address public bond infrastructure funding mechanisms. Participants can expect to practice basic computer modeling functions while making mortgage mechanics calculations.
