Lisa Nisenson

Lisa Nisenson has 20 years of experience and leadership in smart growth, sustainable development and civic engagement. She leads Alta Planning + Design’s New Mobility group, created to help cities integrate technology into healthy, active and connected community design. She founded an award-winning tech startup, GreaterPlaces, as a new platform devoted to city design and governance, with a forthcoming mobile app. She is on the American Planning Association’s Smart City Task Force. She graduated from Meredith College (NC) and Harvard University (MA).
