This track surveys the history of urban planning and explores key movements, moments, and theories in city planning from ancient times to modern day. The track concludes with an analysis of the key challenges facing city planners in the future, as well as some potential solutions. Join course instructor Jason Luger, urban geographer and lecturer in City and Regional Planning at the University of California, Berkeley, to learn about the evolution of urban planning and to pick up key lessons for improving the cities of tomorrow. Each course in this track is approved for CNU-A and AICP CM credit.
