Ma'ayan Dembo

Ma'ayan is a writer who utilizes interviews as a medium to digest issues and disseminate information. As a Planetizen Editorial Intern, she interviewed leading activists for her blog posts relating to civic space in Los Angeles. In addition, Ma'ayan interviewed leading professionals, and edited those conversations, for a series titled “Technology and Transportation”, aired on KZSU 90.1 FM, the Stanford University radio station. For her senior undergraduate thesis, she conducted and analyzed 25+ interviews for her senior thesis titled “Spatial Preferences of Graffiti and Street Artists: Causes and Implications.” Ma'ayan enjoys chatting with strangers, and always asks permission before hitting the record button.
