Mary Jane Nirdlinger

Mary Jane is a recognized expert in plain language and has worked with a wide range of professionals in local government, urban planning, and higher education. She is a graduate of both The University of Michigan, from which she holds a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning, and the Vermont College of Fine Arts, where she received her Master’s of Fine Arts (writing). She is a frequent presenter and instructor at UNC Chapel Hill in North Carolina.
