Claudia has more than 25 years of experience as an urban planner with work ranging from staff reports, large-scale master plans, promotional pieces, and special topic technical reports. As an editor and publications manager she established agency standards and produced documents that were engaging and accurate, and that answered the questions of professional and lay readers. She has taught and lectured at the university level, at the State Department, and the National Building Museum. She holds a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from the University of Virginia and is the author of Contemporary Architecture in Washington, D.C.
